One of two gatehouses framing the original entrance to Worstead Park, Gatehouse North now occupies a quiet position just a stone’s throw from The Woodyard, our beautiful wedding venue.

Accommodation is over a single storey and includes an open-plan kitchen and dining room, cosy snug, useful boot room, additional utility room, a master kingsize bedroom and en-suite shower room, a further kingsize bedroom, a twin bedroom (can be a super kingsize on request), and family bathroom.
Outdoors:
A gravel drive provides parking for up to 4 vehicles. The gatehouse enjoys gardens on two sides, with a large patio equipped with garden furniture and a BBQ for al fresco dining, and a secluded rear garden with a private 6-seater hot tub.

Take the B1150 (Norwich Road) towards Horstead and Coltishall. Continue on the B1150 through Coltishall to stay on the B1150 (North Walsham Road). Continue for 2.4 miles, travelling through Scottow, passing the lay-by on your left, and take the first right hand turn signposted "Byway to Sloley" (just before North Walsham Rugby Club). Continue for 1.4 miles, crossing the railway line. After crossing the railway line take the first left (signposted to Worstead). After approximately 0.7 miles you will see an entrance with two white lodges on your right hand side. Gatehouse North is on your left as you enter. Continue around to the allocated parking.

Take the A149 (North Walsham/Cromer Road) to North Walsham. At the traffic lights turn right and continue straight on the A149. After approximately 3.5 miles turn right onto Honing Road (signposted to Worstead). Continue to the centre of the village, crossing over to pass in front of the church and continue south along the one way street. Continue straight into open countryside away from the village. After approximately 0.7 miles Squirrelwood Equestrian Centre will be on your right hand side. Continue a short distance and you will see an entrance with two white lodges on your left hand side. Gatehouse North is on your left as you enter. Continue around to the allocated parking.
Arrival Information
Check-in is from 4.00pm on your day of arrival. The keys for Gatehouse North will be located in the lockbox next to the side door. The key safe access code will be provided to you on the day of your arrival.
Departure Information
Check-out is before 10.00am on your day of departure. Please return the cottage keys to the key-safe.
Please ensure that you leave the property as you found it, in a clean and tidy condition with furniture and fittings returned to their original positions. Please remove all food from the cupboards and fridge before you leave and ensure all dishes are washed and put away. Please place all waste in the general and recycling wheelie bins provided.

Getting to The Woodyard
Distance: 1.1km | Travel time: 5 minutes
From the gravel parking area at Gatehouse North, turn left to continue along the drive into Worstead Park. Pass through the electric gate and along Lime Tree Avenue. Follow signs for the Visitor Car Park. Once parked, a woodland path leads you from the car park to The Woodyard.
Useful Information
Bar:
We accept both card and cash across the bar in the evening.
Taxis:
We recommend guests book their taxis for 11:45pm. The bar and music finishes at 11:30pm and due to licensing, we require all guests to have left quietly, by midnight.
