We’ve put together some more information to help you plan your stay with us.

Booking Information

  • The simplest way to book your stay is using the online calendar on our website. Select the property from the drop-down list at the top of the calendar and select your dates from those that are available. If you require any assistance when booking, please email stay@worsteadestate.com.

  • Please note that arrivals are on a Monday or a Friday. Holly House, Estate Cottage and Gatehouse North require a minimum 3 night stay. Start days may vary around Christmas and New Year.

  • Guests booking through our website are invited to join our Guest Portal, where you can view and amend details of your stay, request extras, and read our recommendations for local events, activities, and places to eat.

  • In the Guest Portal scroll to “Future Bookings” and select “Booking Details”. From the tabs at the top, select “Other Info”. Select your bed makeup from the options provided.

  • Your farmhouse/cottage will be available from 4pm on the day of arrival. If you are travelling a long way and arrive a little early, you are welcome to park at the property and enjoy a local walk.

  • We ask that guests vacate their farmhouse/cottage by 10am on the day of departure.

  • Yes, we provide bed linen and a bath towel and hand towel for each guest, as well as bath mats in each bathroom and en-suite. We do ask guests to bring their own beach/hot tub towels.

    Tea towels are also provided.

  • In addition to linen and towels, we provide guests with a cleaning kit which includes washing up liquid, disinfectant spray, cloths, sponges, dishwasher tablets, bin bags and a laundry egg (where applicable).

    We also provide teabags, instant coffee and sugar.

  • Each of our farmhouse or cottage kitchens are equipped with oven(s), fridge and freezer space, cutlery, crockery, cookware and basic kitchen equipment. If you require anything specific during your stay and would like to check whether to bring it with you, please email stay@worsteadestate.com.

  • Holly House and Gatehouse North have a washing machine and tumble dryer. Estate Cottage has a washing machine.

    Due to its size, New Lane Cottage does not have these facilities.

  • Yes, high chairs and travel cots are available on request. Stairgates are available on request at Estate Cottage and New Lane Cottage.

Parties & Events

  • Unfortunately we are unable to accommodate hen and stag parties on the estate.

Facilities & Cleaning

Luxury Extras

  • Yes, all of our hot tubs are available all year round for guests’ use during their stay.

    Hot tubs are drained and cleaned during changeovers. Please note that a member of estate staff will require access to the hot tub for chemical testing twice daily, usually between 8-10am and 3-5pm.

  • Games rooms are included at Estate Cottage and Gatehouse North, with a multi-games table (pool, table tennis and air hockey) and seating.

    A pool table is included at Holly House.

    Due to its size there is no games room facility at New Lane Cottage.

  • Guests booking through our website are invited to join our Guest Portal using the link provided in your booking summary. Once registered, scroll to “Future Bookings” and select “Booking Details”. From the tabs at the top, select “Booking Extras” and then “Estate Pantry”. Select the number of Wagyu Tasting Boxes and/or Wildcraft Brewer’s Selection Packs you wish to add to your booking. You will receive an email confirming your selection with further information on payment and delivery/collection.

  • Our estate partners provide a variety of activities including archery and axe throwing, horse riding, beer tasting, canoeing and paddle boarding. To find out more information, click here for our experiences page.

    There are plenty of wonderful countryside walks, both on the estate and immediately around. We provide an estate map showing the footpaths, as well as our recommendations for some popular local routes.

  • We are partnered with Slow You Down Wellbeing to provide two luxury massage therapy options. You can submit an enquiry via our website on our experiences page here, or email stay@worsteadestate.com and a member of our team would be pleased to help you.

  • We work with a number of excellent local chefs who provide bespoke private catering. You can submit an enquiry via our website on our experiences page here, or email stay@worsteadestate.com and a member of our team would be pleased to help you.

Access & Parking

  • Gatehouse North (sleeps 6) provides single storey accommodation and wheelchair friendly access to the garden. For specific needs please contact stay@worsteadestate.com prior to booking to ensure the accommodation is suitable.

  • Yes, all of our properties have parking for multiple cars depending on the size of the farmhouse/cottage.

  • Guests are welcome to schedule deliveries during their stay. However please note that we do not have staff available to take deliveries in guests’ absence and guests are responsible for safe delivery of items/packages.

Pets

  • Yes, all of our properties are dog-friendly so your four-legged friends can enjoy the beautiful walks on and around the estate with you. Estate Cottage and Gatehouse North have secure gated garden areas. New Lane Cottage has hedge and tree-lined boundaries but is not fenced.

    Please note that we do not provide dog bowls or bedding, and we kindly ask that dogs are kept downstairs and off the furniture.
