2024 at Worstead Estate

2024 has been an incredible year at Worstead Estate, marked by growth, success, and exciting developments across all aspects of the business. Our team has expanded significantly, bringing new energy and expertise to the estate, while our community of guests, couples, and market visitors continues to grow and thrive.

The Woodyard, our wedding venue, had a fantastic year, hosting weddings for our beloved couples and gratefully receiving glowing feedback from couples and guests alike. The addition of Marie, our new Venue Manager, we’ve seen the venue flourish, and we’re eagerly looking ahead to an even busier 2025 filled with love and celebrations.

Our holiday cottages have continued to provide an outstanding experience for our guests. By bringing housekeeping in-house at the end of last year, we’ve enhanced our service and are proudly continuing to offer an award-winning standard of care. In September, Hayley joined us as our new Property Manager, ensuring everything runs smoothly behind the scenes. Our new affiliate cottages have added dimension to our B and B offerings, which have been especially popular with wedding couples looking to accommodate their guests.

This was our first full year of hosting the farmers market, and its success has exceeded all expectations. By the end of the year, the stalls were spilling out into the farm yard, and the addition of Hayley’s Highland Cows from Bunns Farm Meats has brought a wonderful new feature to the experience. We have many exciting plans for the 2025 markets, blending farm life with the vibrant community spirit that has made them so popular.

We’ve grown our Estate team as well, welcoming Steve and Nick, who work tirelessly to keep everything running at the highest standards we pride ourselves on. Their expertise and dedication are invaluable to the estate’s operations.

Looking ahead, we’re thrilled to announce the addition of a new holiday cottage in the Spring of 2025, alongside exciting developments for the farmers market. A schedule bursting at the seams for our wedding venue should be eased in due course, with the re-installation of the historic North Drive in Worstead Park well under way.

Thank you to everyone who has supported us throughout this remarkable year. To all the guests that have stayed in our cottages, the couples that have celebrated their big day, and all the locals and visitors that supported our farmers market, you’ve made 2024 unforgettable. We wish you all a Merry Christmas and Happy New Year, we can’t wait to welcome you back in 2025 for another amazing year.
